Our own Guillo Rodriguez recently visited Gijón Spain where he was hosted by the local Rotary Club and visited a 17th century historic chapel (see photo below). This is the second oldest building in that Atlantic coast city in northern Spain. The chapel, San Esteban del Mar del Natahoyo, is in a precarious state of conservation. Our local club is one of the contributors to repair this building. The project consists of rehabilitating both the chapel and its surroundings so that it can serve as a space available for the people of Gijón as a community center.
