Our own Guillo Rodriguez recently visited Gijón Spain where he was hosted by the local Rotary Club and visited a 17th century historic chapel, San Esteban del Mar del Natahoyo. This is the second oldest building in that Atlantic coast city of northern Spain, but it is in a precarious state of conservation. Our club is one of several international Rotary Clubs that have donated funds to rehabilitate this historic building and its surroundings so it can serve the people of Gijón as a community center.
