Friday, February 20 was a treat in so many ways. Thanks to Pat Voss and the WGHS Alumni Association for providing a terrific lunch for several dozen Rotarians, along with students from both the WG High School Interact Club AND the Robotics Team. The team's faculty sponsors, Jeanette Henken and Nicholas Kirschman, introduced a half-dozen of the team members, who were there to talk about how the Robotics Team is important to their aspirations for STEM careers. And, of course, there were demonstrations that made most of us realize how mundane our own high school activities had been! Afterwards, Club President Kim White presented the team with a check representing our continued support for the Robotics Team's activities.
