Thomas Boley was diagnosed with OMS last year and has had to see specialists all over the U.S. Thomas is the son of an Affton High School teacher; the students at the high school raised almost $15,000 to help pay for Thomas's medical expenses.
Led by James Sykes and Adis Terzic, the fund raisers included bracelet sales ($1,250), the Pie in the Face Homecoming Competition ($2,000), t-shirt sales ($8,000), a Relay for Life, and a dunking booth ($4,000).  This year our club is recognizing this effort with our Student Community Service Award of $500 that recognizes extraordinary service projects by students and their teachers.
